Church of St Anne | Shandon Bells

Visit The Shandon Bells; Cork’s most iconic landmark. You haven’t done Cork until you’ve played the Shandon Bells!

Built in 1722 the church of St Anne is built over an older church that dated until the 12th century. Let everyone you know you have arrived by playing the bells (tunes are on numbered cards) for all to here and climb to the top of the steeple for unparalleled views of the city.

Love stories, engagements & weddings have all happened here over the centuries. Do you want to add your story to the list? If you have nothing so dramatic in mind, well then just ‘doing the bells’ is a fun unusual thing to do.
